Joe the Plumber sez, "When you're already in a hole... FULL SPEED AHEAD!"

As we all know, Samuel "Joe the (not really a) Plumber" Wurtzelbacher displayed his fine sense of subtlety and decorum earlier in the week with his response to Elliott Rodger's murder of 7 people (including himself) at UCSB on Memorial Day Weekend. You'd think the horror and derision that met his assertion that "your dead kids don’t trump my Constitutional rights" would make him fold up his mouth and crawl back where he came from. But you'd be wrong, as you can see:

Samuel Wurzelbacher -- better known as Joe the Plumber -- likes guns. And he wants everyone to know why.

"Guns are mostly for hunting down politicians who would actively seek to take your freedoms and liberty away from you," Wurzelbacher wrote on Thursday in a blog post on his website. "Google 'Hitler, Mao, Kim Jung Il, Castro, Stalin' just for starters."

Now, Li'l Sammy doesn't go the full Ted Nugent, calling out a certain President who kicked Sammy's patron John McCain around the yard a few times, and that's good -- for Sammy, that is. Visits from the Secret Service give new and personal meaning to the word "mansplaining." Nonetheless, you look at some of Wurtzelbacher's bullet points (no pun intended -- sort of), and you have to think, "Okay, people think this guy is what America's all about... why?"

-Whistles don’t protect women from rape – a Glock does!

-When armed men come into your house to steal, a baseball bat doesn’t cut it. Unless you have an automatic-baseball bat. I want one of those – email me.

-When a nut-job decides to go on a killing spree and the cops are 5 to 15 minutes away, you are screwed unless you are carrying a Colt.

-And – this is the most important one:

As far as me being nice, cordial, respectful – don’t hurt people’s feelings… bla bla? We tried that and look where it got us?

Well, Sammy, it got your narrow ass kicked to the tune of a 50-point deficit when you took on Marcy Kaptur in 2012. And -- with any luck -- it'll kick you out of the public (non-FoxSpews) eye for good and all.
